The What If Security Series

Sponsorship

The What If Security Series is made possible by our sponsors. We encourage organizations and individuals alike to support our worthwhile endeavour.

Four tiers of Sponsorship are currently available to fund The What If Security Series:

  • Premier Sponsorship: Donors who provide $100,000 or more will be considered Premier Sponsors. Included in the Premier Sponsorship package, donors will receive all What If Security Series reports produced throughout the course of 2008 and access to analysts for a maximum of 5 hours per month. In addition, Premier Sponsor logos will be included in all reports and on the official What If Security Series website with a link back.
  • Media Sponsorship: Exclusive rights for the use of What If Security Series reports for print, radio and television productions are available to interested media companies. Favoured formats for productions based on the reports are full-length dramatizations similar to such documentaries as "Paris 2010: The Great Flood" and "Black Dawn: The Next Pandemic". Media sponsorship packages will begin at $100,000 and include International Perspectives support in the production of works based on What If Security Series reports.
  • Notable Sponsorship: Donors who provide between $25,000 and $100,000 will be considered Notable Sponsors. Included in the Notable Sponsorship package, donors will receive all What if Security Series reports produced through the course of 2008 and access to analysts for a maximum of 3 hours per month. In addition, Premier sponsor names will be listed in all reports and on the official What If Security Series website with a link back.
  • Basic Sponsorship: Donors who provide between $5000 and $24,999 will receive the basic sponsorship package, which will include a minimum of four to a maximum of eight What If Security reports per year.

Basic funding needs have been determined by a total project budget estimate of $1,246,800. Such estimates have been based on the continued maintenance of the online forum, research and analysis, a minimum of four events and reports to be executed throughout the course of 2008 and the commencement of establishing model communities based on the project findings. Increased funding will result in increased project activity.
